OutCare Foundation Leadership

Brian MacGregor, Secretary

Brian MacGregor is owner and General Manager of Browns Cleaners which has 27 franchised locations, eight corporate locations, and five agent locations across the National Capital Region, as well as a textile restoration division for insurance claims. Together, these franchises employ 85 people.

Conscious of the need for more palliative care funding, beds and services in the region, Brian joined the OutCare Foundation in 2001 to help raise awareness of these needs which are essential to the quality delivery of end-of-life care.

Throughout his career with Browns Cleaners, Brian has engaged with several local community organizations, providing free cleaning and/or storage services to the Snowsuit Fund which raises funds for the purchase and distribution of snowsuits to needy children, the My First Suit charity which helps women in need of professional clothing receive fine and/or gently used clothing, and the Fairy Godmother program which helps dress under-privileged teens for their high school prom. Brian also served as president of the Ottawa Executives’ Association and is currently on the board of Stonewick Heights, a 96-apartment and townhome subsidized housing complex in Kanata.
