Christine Irvine
After a career in retail sales and marketing in both Ottawa and Toronto, Christine returned to Ottawa in 2000 and changed the focus of her career to the charitable sector through both consulting and volunteering.
Christine has held fundraising and management positions with the Hnatyshyn Foundation for the Arts, Harmony House Women’s Shelter and the Ottawa Symphony. Her volunteer efforts included the Ottawa Women’s Health Council which provided the funding for the launch of Shirley E. Greenberg Women’s Health Centre, the Centertown Laundry Co-op, the Main Street Farmer’s Market and the planning committee of the Trees of Hope for CHEO. After volunteering with OutCare for a number of years on the Black Tie Bingo event committee, Christine joined the OutCare Board in May of 2019.
Since 2007 she has seen her parents and in-laws through their end-of-life journey’s and is passionate about providing funding to those agencies in our community that are fulfilling people’s end-of-life wishes. She believes in the work that OutCare does to further those efforts.
