Most of Eric Kalbfleisch’s professional career was spent serving national and local clients through his 37+ year tenure in the Advertising Department of the Ottawa Citizen. He was fortunate enough to also serve the local community through many charitable organizations that approached the Citizen for support. Eric is now a Realtor assisting people with their real estate needs but continues to do community work.

Eric has always had a strong desire to help make our community a better place. He has supported and/or served on many charitable and non-profit boards and committees including Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, Realtor Care Foundation, Harmony House, Shelter Movers, 100 Men Who Care Ottawa, United Way, Snowsuit Fund, Ottawa Heart Institute and Algonquin College Foundation. It brings him great joy to work alongside people who volunteer their time and resources to improve the lives of others.

Eric believes that the end-of-life journey should not be one of uncertainty, anxiety, fear and loneliness, and feels privileged to support the OutCare Foundation in our work.

Eric joined the board in January 2020.
