Ways To Give
Thank you for supporting palliative care across Eastern Ontario. Your support really matters! There are many different ways you can give which are outlined below. If you have any questions or would like further information about any of the options below please contact our office.
Donations can be made online donations through our secure site.
Monthly giving is an easy and convenient way to give. Monthly giving allows you to spread your donation over the entire year. By joining our monthly giving program you help to provide dependable income for the OutCare Foundation while reducing costs.
A gift in your Will - Have you thought about what you would like your legacy to be or how you like to be remembered? A gift in your Will will help us to address the most pressing palliative care needs - it will help to improve quality of life.
Tribute Giving – Tribute giving is a great way to honour someone while making an impact in our region.
Workplace Giving – It’s easy to support palliative care through the United Way Campaign and the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. You can designate your campaign gift by listing the OutCare Foundation’s charitable business number 88074 5286 RR0001.
Gifts of Securities – In recent years, tax changes have made it even more attractive to donate publicly traded securities. This method of donating allows you to make a significant donation while greatly reducing your out of pocket cost. Each donor’s financial situation is unique and donors are encouraged to explore the impact on their portfolios directly with their financial advisor. You will receive a charitable receipt for the value of the securities at the close of the market on the date that ownership is transferred to the Foundation. Contact us for more information.
Gifts of Life Insurance – These gifts have benefits for both the donor and the charity. As a donor you can choose to make a much larger future contribution while enjoying the benefit of a charitable receipt today or delaying the benefit of a receipt until the funds are transferred to the Foundation. Please keep in mind that each donor’s situation is unique and the options available to you will vary based on your personal circumstances and the policy you choose.
